Short story by Vonnegut, one of his many stories that I immediately loved. He weaves such vivid imagery in just a few choice words, and this book is no different in that aspect. It’s about a dystopian future, and that’s all I’ll say about the plot specifically because spoilers.
Clocking in at 15 pages, it’s a super quick read and something I suggest for your next readathon. In fact, I should’ve kept this book on hold for my next readathon but hey, I read it. And it was great.
