A genius in feel-good novels. Pure chick lit. By the way, I never really understood why people are offended by that term? I proudly own up to loving chick lit and it works wonders for me, definitely! A great pick me up, and something that perfectly balances out my dystopian/post apocalyptic addiction.
I absolutely adore all of Kinsella’s books and this one is no different. The lead characters are all amazing and well written. I am always rooting for her strong opinionated heroines who all have a tendency to carry on absolutely tangential monologues in their heads. (I am guilty of the same and I’m sure a lot of us are too!)
I love Katie-Cat. I love Farmer Mick and Biddy. Won’t tell you who else I love because spoilers. I want a sequel to this one.
A perfect pick me up. Not a small book by any means but for me, the longer the better. And every page is worth it. The story flows quite well and there was no point in the book where I felt that the storyline was dragging. But of course I expect no less.
This one also has a great lesson, like all her books do. Coming down to the essence of this book, it’s about how you should do what you believe is correct, morally and otherwise. It’s about doing what is right and what needs to be done, even if it’s difficult. It’s about family and career and happiness and finding your moss. Also, not everything you see on Instagram is true.
I hope you all find your own moss. Oh and do follow me on Instagram! It’s all true on that one.
